Viton for Mercedes Engines
As I am going through replacing rubber fuel system components on my 1987 300D I am replacing them with Viton components. Since I am spending the time and effort identifying the components I thought that I might as well offer them for sale to you also. This list will grow as I replace more and more of the Buna (Nitrile) hoses, gaskets, and o-rings with Viton.

This is a kit of viton o-rings for the 606 engine.
- 2 Spin on fuel filter O-Rings (Numbers 11 and 14 in the linked diagram)
- 1 Prefilter O-Ring (Number 29 in the linked diagram)
- 1 Shutoff valve O-Ring
- 9 Fuel line O-Rings (one at the filter housing)
- 3 Fuel line at the filter housing O-Rings
- 6 Delivery valve O-Rings
- 1 Tank Screen O-Ring

The MB parts are made out of Buna (Nitrile). These are the same size O-Rings made out of Viton. Viton is the material of choice for vegetable oil and for biodiesel, and is also extremely resistant to ULSD.

Look at your current hoses. Try to estimate what you need based on what you see. You should need 6-8 inches between each cylinder. Sometimes you will need a foot between the two middle cylinders to get around some of the mounting hardware. Add a foot to get to the fuel filter. Buy a little more if you still are not sure.
