This all started as a group purchase by a bunch of us over at the www.biodiesel.infopop.cc site. The group purchase is over, but I went ahead and reordered to stockback up.
The threaded end connectors are 3/4 inch, but the static mixer elements are a bit larger than that. The elements are Acetal. The housing is Nylon with brass threaded ends.
They are transparent so they could replace the hose coming off of the Harbor Freight pump going back to the appleseed processor tank. You get to see the mixing as it happens and still be able to use it as a sight glass for level and separation.

Other than the incompatability with H2SO4 they have proven to be very resilient. I routinely use mine with 160 deg F vegetable oil. They do become less stiff as you get near 200 deg F. I would not use them above 170 deg F just to be safe.
